The opening and closing part of the sanitary butterfly valve is a disc-mounted valve plate, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body during operation, so as to achieve the purpose of opening and adjustment. The working angle of sanitary butterfly valve from fully open to fully closed is usually less than 90°. Usually, the butterfly valve and the disc rod itself have no self-locking ability. For the positioning of the disc, a turbo reducer must be installed on the valve rod. If a turbo reducer is used, not only can the disc have the self-locking ability, but also the operation of the butterfly valve can be more convenient.
