Tips: How to measure AC current with a clamp meter?
The clamp meter is a special digital multimeter with clamp head for current measurement. So make sure that the test probes are removed from the clamp meter when using the clamp head to measure AC current. Then follow the operation steps below step by step.

Rotate the measurement function selection dial to the AC current.
Press the trigger to open the clamp, pass the wire to be measured into the centre of the clamp, and then slowly release the trigger until the clamp is fully closed.
Read the measurement result from the LCD.

Note: The clamp meter can only measure one current conductor at a time. If two or more current conductors are measured at the same time, the measurement will be inaccurate.
