Factory price capacitive tank level sensor is transmitter that use a coaxial container. The capacitor is composed of two coaxial cylindrical plates, an inner electrode and an outer electrode. When the liquid enters the container, the capacitance value between the sensor shell and the sensing electrode will change, and the standard current, voltage or digital signal will be output. It is suitable for measurement of conductive liquids.

Tips: Working principle of capacitance level sensor

Capacitive level sensors use the electrostatic principle. The measurement of such a sensor usually consists of a plate of the capacitor, the outside of the plate is the outer casing of the sensor. This external measurement is usually against the container of the device. When the liquid changes up and down, the internal conductor is covered by the liquid, and the dielectric constant of the capacitor changes, so the capacitance changes, and the state of the circuit connected to the measuring head also changes, so the switch can be controlled to open or close.

According to this principle, when the capacitive liquid level sensor detects that there is water or no water, it can control the power off, or start the water pump switch for automatic water addition. The object detected by this liquid level sensor is not limited to water conductors, but can be oil, nutrient solution, and other liquids.
